Meet our Leadership

Our team is committed to raising Christ-centered teen disciples across Africa. Each leader brings passion, vision, and a deep love for the Gospel.

Luke Amoke Onyango

Executive Director
Luke Onyango Amoke’s journey with Teens for Christ Africa began in 2006, a pivotal year that marked the inception of his commitment to empowering the teenagers. Starting as a volunteer, he immersed himself in schools and local chapters surrounding the vibrant campus of Maseno University. By 2009, Luke's unwavering dedication did not go unnoticed. He was appointed the Regional Director for the Nyanza and Western regions, a role that allowed him to expand his influence and impact on the lives of countless young individuals. His leadership skills and vision for youth ministry were evident, and by 2011, his exceptional performance led him to Nairobi, where he was entrusted with the position of Country Director for the organization. His ascent within the ranks of Teens for Christ Africa culminated in 2014 when he was confirmed as the Executive Director, a testament to his hard work, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to the mission of the organization.

Luke's academic credentials reflect his profound understanding of leadership and organizational dynamics. He holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Entrepreneurship from Southeastern University, which equips him with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of non-profit management. In addition, he has earned a Postgraduate Diploma, a Bachelor’s degree, and Advanced Diplomas in Theology, further grounding his work in a theological context that resonates deeply with his mission.

Beyond his professional achievements, Luke is also a devoted family man. He is married to Josephine, and together they are raising three children: Larry, Lincoln, and Lindsay. This family unit not only enriches his personal life but also provides a foundation of support and inspiration as he balances the demands of his career with his responsibilities as a husband and father.

Paul Awiti Odingo

Operations Director
Paul Awiti Odingo has been the Operations Director for Teens for Christ Africa since 2019. With approximately 16 years of experience in youth ministry, he began his journey with TFC in 2006 after being introduced to the organization by Luke, who guided him into high school ministry. Initially joining as a volunteer, he was later appointed as a staff member and became a regional director in 2012. In 2003, during a Sunday service, Paul experienced a profound revelation of the Lord while the gospel was being preached. Although he had been raised in a church-going family and had a strong faith before high school, his moral compass faltered as he associated with the wrong crowd. This led to a decline in discipline and strained his relationship with his parents. At one point, he was close to dropping out of school, as his father was unwilling to continue funding his education due to his behavior, which negatively impacted his academic performance. Ultimately, Paul surrendered to God's will, resulting in a significant transformation in his life. This is his motivation for the ministry among teenagers in Africa.

George Ouma Obunde

Regional Director - Eastern
George possesses a remarkably calm and composed spirit, which serves as a foundation for his thoughtful and deliberate approach to leadership. He takes the time to carefully analyze situations from multiple angles before sharing his insights, always to foster the greater good. This philosophy shapes his all-encompassing and inclusive leadership style, enabling his team members to operate freely and express their talents, which in turn helps to cultivate the best versions of themselves.

Currently, George leads a dedicated team of four staff members, collaborating closely with enthusiastic volunteers. Together, they are making a significant impact, reaching over 24,000 teenagers in the Eastern Region of Kenya. Their collective efforts empower youth and foster a sense of community and support, demonstrating the profound influence of George’s leadership philosophy in action. Through his commitment to understanding and uplifting each individual, George continues to inspire those around him, creating a ripple effect of positive change in the lives of many.
