Since the dawn of 2025, our ministry has embarked on a transformative journey, reaching an impressive 284,802 teenagers every week. This remarkable achievement is particularly noteworthy, considering we have one class less than the previous year due to the recent changes in the Kenyan educational curriculum. The adjustments we have faced have not deterred our commitment; rather, they have steered us toward a more focused approach in our mission.
The number of chapters and schools we are engaged with has decreased to 433, a reduction from last year’s figures. This shift is not merely a statistic but a strategic realignment towards discipleship. We have made the intentional decision to drop any school or chapter that does not align with our renewed focus on providing ample time for meaningful interactions with teenagers. This commitment to discipleship underscores our belief that true transformation occurs through deep, personal relationships and mentorship, which are essential in nurturing the spiritual growth of our youth.
In a testament to the impact of our work, 10,193 teenagers have made the life-changing decision to follow Christ since the beginning of the year. We are profoundly grateful for these transformative moments and the profound changes we have witnessed in the lives of these young individuals. Each decision reflects the work of God’s hand in their lives, a reminder that the seeds we plant today can yield a bountiful harvest tomorrow.
Furthermore, we are excited to share that over 23,805 teenagers have engaged in one-on-one discipleship relationships with our dedicated network of staff and volunteers. By utilizing various tools and resources, we are committed to guiding these young individuals to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to cultivate an army of young believers who are equipped and passionate about making a positive impact in the world around them.
By the grace of God, we have also taken significant steps to enhance the efficiency of our operations. We are pleased to announce the acquisition of over 10 motorbikes, which will facilitate seamless travel for our team members as they move between different chapters. This logistical improvement is crucial in ensuring that our staff can effectively reach and connect with teenagers across various locations.
Lastly, we are thrilled to highlight two significant events that have taken place this year. One was a rejuvenating staff retreat held late last year, which provided our team with the opportunity to reflect, recharge, and refocus on our mission. Following this, we hosted our Converge Leadership Conference for teenagers in April, an event that gathered young leaders to inspire and equip them for their roles in their communities. As we reflect on these milestones, we are filled with gratitude for the journey thus far. The challenges we have faced have only strengthened our resolve and reaffirmed our commitment to the mission at hand. We look forward to what lies ahead, trusting in God’s continued guidance and provision as we strive to impact the lives of teenagers across Kenya.
